　　字面含义：十一点
　　真实含义：掐在12点前的最后一小时，意思是非常迟，到了最后的关头
　　例：He always arrives at the office at the 11th hour.
　　他总是最后一刻才到办公室。
　　(2)bring to the table
　　字面含义：带到桌子上来
　　真实含义：能放到台面上的东西，也就是能出得了手的东西
　　例：I hope that you can show me something that can be brought to the table.
　　我希望你能给我展示一些上得了台面的东西。
　　(3)get your foot in the door
　　字面含义：跨进门
　　真实含义：推开了一扇新的大门，进入新的领域
　　例：He was thirsty to learn something new when he got his foot in the door.
