　　Truth to be told, it takes time to choose the right gift. It bothers me when I can’t find the satisfactory gift for others. Here is such an occasion.
　　A couple of months ago, I paid a visit to an ancient village, situated in the mountainous area in the west of the province.
　　While I was wandering through the village, I was thinking that I should buy my mom a souvenir as a gift. But I didn’t know what she really needed. I mean, she had everything she wanted, and if I spent too much money it, she would blame me. Then I came across a small shop opened by the villager. It mainly sold some handcrafts like paper cuts, baskets and hats etc. I pictured how my mom would respond when she saw those products. about 40 minutes later, I finally made up my mind and chose a scarf for her. The scarf had stripes of red and white, and it felt very soft.
　　Well, it turned out to be a wise choice because my mom was very surprised by the gift. She had never expected anything from me, and was very moved when I shared my experience of choosing the gift. She said it was the best gift she had ever received, and she wore it every day in winter and spring.
