　　nowhere是地点状语，主语是1980censusstatistics，谓语是dramatize，宾语是theAmericansearchforspaciousliving。
　　若这个句子恢复为正常语序（而且恢复被省略的成分），应该为：1980censusstatisticsdramatizemoretheAmericansearchforspaciouslivingnowherethan(theAmericansearchforspaciousliving)intheFarWest.
　　(2)像①句一样，以否定副词或含有否定意义的副词或短语开始的句子在大多数情况下应使用部分倒装结构。常见的这类副词和短语有:little,seldom,rarely,never,nowhere,hardly,scarcely,innocircumstances,onnoaccount,atnotime,notonly,innosense等。
　　(3)此外，由so,neither,nor引导的分句也需要部分倒装。例如一个1999年的真题例子，

　　(4)as(though)引出的倒装从句（可参见as的用法)：在as(though)引导的让步状语从句中常使用倒装语序。例如真题2004的翻译部分句子：
　　③Oddthoughitsounds,cosmicinflationisascientificallyplausibleconsequenceofsomerespectedideasinelementaryparticlephysics,andmanyastrophysicistshavebeenconvincedforthebetterpartofadecadethatitistrue.
