　　这一类结构叫做双边倾向性结构，它属于双边结构中的一种。对于大部分学生而言双边结构与单边结构相比大的优点在于论证过程比较容易扩展。双边论证指正文两段各自论述下两个观点或优缺点。

　　上述结构中的supporting sentences在议论文中的体现方式属于一些论证方法，例如举例子(exemplification)，对比对照(contrast& comparison)，列数据(raising figures)，让步(making concession)等来对自己支持的观点进行论证，使考官信服。
