　　 词汇和表达
　　1、本句虽然看起来很长，但它仍是一个简单句，也没有出现各种从句。句子的主语是much of this，谓语是系动词looks。句首from the middle-class family perspective是介词短语作状语。
　　2、动词look后的表语是两个并列的like介词短语，一个like前面有far less修饰，第二个like前面有a good deal more修饰。to exercise more financial responsibility是动词不定式作后置定语修饰an opportunity。
