  Answers and explainations
  1. 填入any
any是“任何”的意思,at any moment是“随时,不久”之意,即at any time:If something could happen at any time, it is possible that it will happen very soon, though nobody can predict exactly when.,例如:This can happen to anyone at any time.
  2. hurry --- hurried
  3. 填入May
  4. 填入have sold
原文中把have与We合并简写成立We’ve,实际就是We have sold out。
a pity: in spoken English used to show that you are disappointed about something and you wish things could happen differently.
  经常有What a pity / shame!一说。
  6. 填入he
  7. 填入those
This / that是一对儿,these / those是一对儿;凡是近处和往下说的用this / these, 远处和上面提到的用that / those。
  8. 填入for
  考查介词for的用法, a ticket for......
Mary gave me a ticket for a pop concert.
He got a ticket for parking in the wrong place.
  9. 填入still
  10. 填入well
即: might / may as well: used to suggest that someone should do something, because there is no good reason to do anything else,例如:We might as well have another talk with him.
