　　一、 倒装的分类
　　一般的句式顺序是主谓宾，比如She is a teacher.但是当谓语部分提到主语之前，就出现了倒装的情况，比如Here comes the bus. 这就是一种倒装的句式结构。因为考研英语中谓语的情况比较复杂，有时候全部谓语动词都放到主语之前就是全部倒装，当谓语动词的一部分提到主语之前时就是部分倒装的情况。
　　二、 全部倒装
　　在考研英语中，比较常见的全部倒装的情况是主系表结构的倒装，就构成了“表语 系动词 主语”的形式，下面通过一道考研英语的考研试题例句进行说明：Implicit within Tylor’s definition is the concept that culture is learned, shared, and patterned behavior. 这个句子中，主句的谓语is是一个系动词，而主语的位置出现了一个形容词短语Implicit within Tylor’s definition。很明显，形容词短语不可能做主语，所以就是一个全部倒装的情况。
　　三、 部分倒装
　　而部分倒装就是将谓语的一部分提到主语之前，比如助动词或者情态动词。如果句中的谓语没有助动词或者情态动词，则需要添加助动词do，does，或者did，并将其置于主语之前。即：助动词/情态动词 主语 动词。比较常见的情况有以下几种：
　　1、当no，not，never，seldom，little，hardly，at no time，in no way，by no means，not until等含有否定意义的词或者短语谓语句首时，需要采取部分倒装的形式。例句如下：Not only was there the tragic incident involving the murder of athletes, but the Games were also ruined by lesser incidents caused principally by minor national contests.
　　2、当“only 状语”位于句首时，主句需要出现部分倒装，而这种简单的句式结构也是大家在作文中可以利用的句型。考研阅读中例句如下：only gradually was the by-product of the institution noted, and only more gradually still was this effect considered as a directive factor in the conduct of the institution.
　　3、As引导的让步状语从句中，从句出现部分倒装的情况：As much as some scientists may complain about the awards, two things seem clear.
